Clarksburg AVA, CA
Tannat is a grape varietal originating from Southwestern France but now thrives predominantly in Uruguay. This wine shows a deep purple color packed with blackberry, plum, and dark-chocolate flavors supported by a firm tannin structure. Tannat is also known for having some of the highest levels of the antioxidant resveratrol.
Inspired by a memorable experience at a small Spanish restaurant, Warner partnered with our vineyard in 2019 to add Tannat to VIN312’s special selection. You’ll notice the deep inky color as it coats the glass. This wine keeps you engaged from start to finish, encouraging swirl after swirl to explore its evolving aromas. It pairs beautifully with fatty meats such as ribeye or prosciutto.
