Chenin Blanc is a French white varietal originating from the Loire Valley. While it shares some lineage with Sauvignon Blanc, it carries a unique character all its own. The winemaker wanted to showcase this varietal as part of our mission to highlight outstanding and lesser-known grapes.
This expression of Chenin Blanc offers bright citrus and minerality on the palate, with aromatic notes of lychee and white peach. The balanced acidity makes it crisp without being overly sharp. Grown in one of California’s most respected white-wine appellations, this high-demand fruit is difficult to source — and we’re thrilled to share it with you.
The winemaker recommends pairing this wine with cooked salmon, lemon chicken, sushi, or fresh green salads topped with fruit.
